This serves only to introduce this new blog to you. I'll be retiring the Minerva blog soon, i.e. no new posts except a similar reminder to visit here. It will still be available for viewing if you want to re-live my humble pie meal of the Appalachian Trail, take a float plane ride over Moosehead Lake, or visit Tucson, AZ again.
I hope you'll stay with us and stay in touch, too.
A little update - Peg has a contract on her house already! We just had a huge moving sale which was exhausting but fruitful, much in thanks to friend Judy, the sale queen. I'm putting my house on the market this week, all freshly painted and cleared out! Keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't take six months to sell!
We've made all the interior choices for the new house i.e. paint, flooring, fixtures, appliances, cabinets, countertops, etc. and may not see it again until all is done. A bit scary, I must say. Of course, there will be MANY photos of it when that happens.
We're scheduled to move 4th week in January. We'll just hope that isn't the exact time of the 100 year blizzard, in which case, we might delay a day or two, until we can get snow shoes. That's a photo I want - Mom on snowshoes. It could happen! She's pretty adventurous.
